Aeromedical Nurse Job
Job Description:
We are hiring Aero-Medical Professionals to join our team of aviation healthcare responders. As part of an air ambulance crew, you will manage in-flight patient care, coordinate with ground teams, and ensure medical protocols are followed during emergency evacuations and transfers.
This role demands clinical expertise, adaptability to high-stress conditions, and a commitment to life-saving missions under challenging environments, including high-altitude operations.
Location: Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Dubai
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care support and emergency treatment during air transfers
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and operate in-flight life support systems
- Coordinate with pilots, paramedics, and hospital teams to ensure smooth medical transport
- Prepare pre-flight assessments and medical documentation
- Conduct post-flight patient handover and reporting
- Manage and maintain onboard medical equipment and drugs
- Stay updated on aviation health and safety protocols
- Accompany international evacuations and ensure compliance with travel health documentation
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: MBBS / BSc Nursing / GNM / Paramedical Diploma
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU, ER, or trauma care
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (mandatory); PALS or ATLS (preferred)
- Passport: Required for international air evacuations
- Language: Fluency in English & Hindi; other regional languages are a plus
- Availability: On-call flexibility with willingness to travel on short notice
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in air ambulance or helicopter rescue operations
- Strong understanding of aviation medicine and inflight risk management
- Excellent decision-making and team coordination under pressure
- Ability to handle high-risk patients, including ventilator-dependent cases
